Hyundai Creta

Hyundai launched their Hyundai Creta back in 2015, and it has been one of the most successful cars in the segment since it was launched.

Transmission and Engine

The Creta comes with the same 1.5-litre normally aspirated petrol (115 PS/144 Nm), 1.5-litre diesel (115PS/250 Nm), and 1.4-litre turbo-petrol (140 PS/242 Nm) engines as the Kia Seltos. Both the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines come standard with a 6-speed manual transmission. A CVT and a 6-speed torque converter are the two automatic gearboxes available for the two engines. The 1.4-liter turbo-petrol is only available with a 7-speed DCT transmission (dual-clutch automatic).

Exterior design

It has a three-dimensional cascading grille with muscle-like vertical and horizontal lines, as well as a sculpted bumper with skid plates on the exterior. Its overall beauty is enhanced by flared wheel arches with skillfully designed crease lines.

To give the SUV a futuristic flair, it features two boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, LED Headlamps, and strategically placed fog lamps. The new Creta comes with class-leading features like a panoramic sunroof, LED headlights, and an improved Bluelink 1.5 system.

Interior design and features

LED headlights and taillights, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and ventilated front seats are all standard features. It also comes with a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with linked services from Hyundai.

Safety

Up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability control are among the safety features (ESC).

Rivals

The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor are among Creta's competitors. The Tata Harrier and the MG Hector are also competitors in its top models.
