Hyundai Tucson Info
In 2020, Hyundai released an upgraded Tucson. Hyundai's BlueLink connected car technology was installed for the first time in India. The Tucson petrol comes in two types: AT GL (O) 2WD and AT GLS 2WD, while the Tucson diesel comes in three types: AT GL (O) 2WD, AT GLS 2WD, and AT GLS 4WD.
Engines and Transmissions
The Hyundai Tucson is powered by 2-litre gasoline and diesel engines. While the petrol engine will continue to be connected to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, the diesel engine will be mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission, rather than the 6-speed AT seen in the previous generation. The petrol engine provides 152 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque, while the diesel engine produces 185 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.
Exterior design
Hyundai's iconic huge cascade grille, plated in chrome, is featured on the redesigned Tucson. Furthermore, the car includes LED projector headlights with LED DRLs and static bending lamps, as well as LED combo taillamps at the back. Front and rear parking sensors, a reverse parking camera, a rear spoiler, welcome lights, roof rails, 18-inch alloy wheels, and other features are included. Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Phantom Black, and Starry Night are the four paint colours offered for Tucson.
Interior design
Leather upholstery is available for the Tucson's seats, steering wheel, gear shift, and door and front centre armrests. It has black interiors as well. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported via an eight-inch infotainment system. It now includes BlueLink linked vehicle technology, which includes fifty functionalities. There's also an eight-speaker Infinity sound system, a multifunctional steering wheel with cruise control, music, and Bluetooth controls, a chilled glovebox, and electric-assisted front seats, among other features.
Safety
A four-wheel-drive system, an electric panoramic sunroof, smart electric assist tailgate, dual-zone temperature control, heated ORVMs, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers, a wireless charging pad, standard six airbags, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill start assist, downhill brake control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and advance cornering traction control are among the SUV's safety and convenience features.
The facelifted Tucson comes with up to six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), ABS with EBD, and hill start assist as standard equipment.
Rivals
The MG Hector, Jeep Compass, Citroen C5 Aircross, and VW Tiguan are also competitors.
