Kia Seltos

The Kia Seltos is Kia's first SUV designed specifically for the Indian market, and it has been on the market since 2019.

Engine and Transmission
The Kia Seltos comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine as choices. A six-speed manual transmission, a CVT, and an iMT gearbox are all available with the 1.5-litre petrol engine. Only a seven-speed DCT with steering-mounted paddle shifters is available with the 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is available with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior design
The Kia Seltos' exterior appearance stays the same, with a very cluttered but unusual front design. The chrome-finished distinctive tiger-nose grille is accompanied by a stunning pair of LED daytime running lights. The fog lamps, which are arranged horizontally, are also attractive. The well-equipped LED headlamps at the back add to Seltos' strong attitude. The tail lamps are connected by a chrome slat, and the sculpted bumper with simulated bash plates completes the Seltos' outward appearance. The Seltos is 4315x1800x1620 mm in size, with a 2610mm wheelbase and 190mm of ground clearance.

Interior design
From the inside, the mid-spec variants get smart-key with remote engine start, new AI voice commands, electronic stability control, brake assist, and vehicle stability management, in addition to existing features like an electric sunroof, ambient lighting, leather seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and front ventilated seats.

Safety
Up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, braking assist, emergency stop signal, vehicle stability management (VSM), electronic stability control (ESC), and hill assist control are all included in the Seltos' safety package (HAC).

Rivals
The Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, and Volkswagen Taigun are among its rivals.
