Mercedes has launched the 2021 E-Class facelift in India.
Engine and Transmission
The E200 is equipped with a 1,991cc four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 194bhp and 320 Nm torque, while the E200d is equipped with a 1,950cc four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 192 bhp and 400Nm torque. Finally, the AMG Line E350d is equipped with a 2,925cc inline six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 282 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. A 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission is standard on all three engines.
Exterior design
With a 3,079-meter wheelbase, the facelifted E-Class now measures just over five meters in length. It has new high-performance LED headlights with DRLs, as well as a reworked grille and bumpers. New tail lamps with a chrome strip that spans the length of the boot are added to the vehicle. There's also a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree vision cameras, and a park pilot option. The revised grille, bumpers, side skirts, 18-inch AMG alloy wheels, and air suspension are all part of the E 350d AMG range. Mercedes has introduced two new paint colors: Selenite Gray and Designo Hyacinth Red, in addition to Polar White, Obsidian Black, High-Tech Silver, and Mojave Silver.
Interior design
Wood panel inserts have been added to the dashboard, center console, and door pads. Artico leather upholstery for the seats, a 590W Burmester sound system, a redesigned steering wheel, reclining rear seats with memory function, and soft-closing doors are all included in the revised E-Class. In the E-Class facelift, Mercedes-Benz now offers two 12.3-inch screens with MBUX and the latest Mercedes Me Connect. Wireless charging pads at the front and back, 64-color ambient lighting, a tablet-like controller for the infotainment system in the rear armrest, and other features are included in the automobile.
Safety
There are seven airbags onboard, as well as an electronic stability program, attention assist, and active braking aid for further safety.
