Engine and Transmission
Both petrol and diesel engines are available for the SUV. It comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged gasoline engine or a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. The former produces 197 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque, while the latter produces 194 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Both engines come with a 9-speed automatic transmission. In India, however, only the diesel engine has an all-wheel-drive system.

Exterior design
The Mercedes-Benz GLC has a revised grille, new headlamps, and a revamped bumper. For added freshness, the 2017 GLC has updated LED tail lights and new alloy wheels.

Interior design
The GLC comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen entertainment system with Mercedes-new Benz's MBUX system, 64-shade ambient cabin lighting, wireless charging, seven airbags, and a voice command system. A fully digital instrument cluster is also available.
