Renault KWID

In September 2015, Renault launched their Renault KWID in India.

Engine and Transmission
The Renault Kwid is available with two petrol engines: a 0.8-litre (54PS/72Nm) and a 1-liter (68PS/91Nm). The former is solely available with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the latter additionally has a 5-speed AMT as an option.

Exterior and Interior design
A revised front bumper, split headlight configuration, LED DRLs, new three slat grille, contrast coloured ORVMs, C-shaped LED light guides, and an integrated roof spoiler are among the exterior features of the Renault Kwid facelift. The inside has an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and voice recognition, as well as a piano black center console, a completely digital LED instrument cluster, and a rear parking camera with guidance.

Safety
Dual airbags, ABS with EBD, speed alert system, reverse parking sensors, and seatbelt reminder for the driver and co-driver are included in the facelifted Renault Kwid.

Rivals
Rivals of the Renault Kwid include the Maruti Suzuki Alto, Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, and the Datsun redi-GO. Furthermore, its top-end model competes with the Tata Punch.
