Tata Altroz

Tata Motors launched Altroz in the Indian car market in January 2020.

Engine and Transmission
Engines and Transmissions for the Tata Altroz include a 1.2-litre normally aspirated petrol (86PS/113 Nm), a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (110PS/140Nm), and a 1.5-litre diesel (90PS/200Nm). All three come standard with a 5-speed manual transmission, with a DCT (dual-clutch automatic) transmission likely to arrive later.

Exterior design 
The Altroz is built on ALFA, a novel modular platform. It had a length of 3,990mm and a wheelbase of 2,501mm. It also boasts a 345-liter boot and a 165-mm ground clearance. Aside from that, the front has twin headlights with an integrated DRL and fog lighting unit underneath them. Depending on the model, it comes with 16-inch alloy wheels.

Interior design 
The Altroz has a dual-theme color scheme on the inside. The instrument cluster comprises a floating seven-inch touchscreen and another seven-inch screen with an analogue dial. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the ConnectNext app suite are all supported by the infotainment system. There's also a 15-liter chilled glove box.

Safety
Dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and rear parking sensors are all standard on the Tata Altroz.

Rivals
The Toyota Glanza, Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Volkswagen Polo, and Honda Jazz are also competitors for the Tata Altroz.
