Tata Safari

Tata has reintroduced its iconic Safari moniker with a fully new SUV. Tata Safari is based on Land Rover's D8 platform, which Tata has dubbed OMEGARC. It is built on the same basis as the Harrier SUV.

Engine and Specifications
This SUV has a wheelbase of 4,661mm and a length of 4,661mm. It is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that generates 168 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, and it comes with a six-speed manual or torque converter automatic gearbox.

Features
HID Xenon projector headlamps with DRLs have been installed on Safari. Dual-LED stripe tail lights are also included. Most top-spec Safari versions come equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels.
Tata has installed an 8.8-inch touchscreen entertainment system in the interior that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes with iRA linked vehicle technology enabling smartphone communication from afar.
A chilled glovebox, a seven-inch TFT color display in the instrument cluster, a nine-speaker JBL sound system (Only for certain variants), and ambient lighting are also included in the SUV. Six airbags, hill hold control, rollover mitigation, corner stability control, four-disc brakes, cruise control, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, auto headlights, and wipers are among the features offered by Tata.

Safety
Safety features include disc brakes all around, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, traction control, up to six airbags, rollover mitigation, and cornering stability control on the Tata Safari.

Rivals
The MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700, and Kia Carens are among Tata Safari's competitors.
