Toyota Camry

In India, the Toyota Camry hybrid debuted in January 2019.

Engine and Specifications
The Camry continues to be powered by the same petrol-hybrid powertrain under the hood. The 2.5-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine is combined with an electric motor to create 215 horsepower and 221 Nm of peak torque. A CVT transmission transmits the power to the front wheels.

Exterior design
The Camry hybrid keeps the current-generation model's casing on the outside. The horizontal slats on the front bumper are now more visible, with chrome inserts highlighting them. The 18-inch alloy wheels have a new dual-tone design, and the LED tail lamps have been sharpened with a black base extension. A new Metal Stream paint palette is now available for the Camry.

Interior design
Within the Camry's cabin, the Y-style dashboard is still available, while the black wood design provides a touch of elegance. The new nine-inch touchscreen entertainment system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and sits atop the dash. A nine-speaker JBL sound system is another interesting element. Existing amenities such as a 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat, wireless charging, head-up display, three-zone climate control, and an electric sunroof are all available on the Camry.

Safety
Nine airbags, park assist, vehicle stability control, traction control, hill-start assist, and tyre pressure monitoring are among the safety features.
