Toyota Fortuner

The Toyota Fortuner facelift was launched in India on 6 January 2021.

Engine and Specifications
The Toyota Fortuner has a length of 4,795mm, a width of 1,855mm, and a height of 1,835mm, as well as a wheelbase of 2,745mm. The Toyota Fortuner is available with two engine options: a 2.7-litre petrol engine and a 2.8-litre diesel engine. The former generates 164 horsepower and 245 Newton meters of torque, while the latter produces 201 horsepower and 420 Newton meters of torque (500 Nm with AT). There are two transmission options: a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.

Exterior design
The Toyota Fortuner has a new grille, new LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs, redesigned front and rear bumpers, new 18-inch alloy wheels, and reworked LED tail lights on the exterior.

Interior design
The Toyota Fortuner has an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car technology, a cooled glove-box, drive modes, electrically adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, ventilated front seats, puddle lamps, an engine start-stop button, and a wireless charger on the inside. Seven airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a seat belt reminder system, speed alert system, VSC with braking aid, traction control, and park assist function are included in the model's safety features.

Safety
Up to seven airbags, vehicle stability control, hill assist, and ABS with EBD are included in the full-size SUV.

Rivals
The Fortuner goes head-to-head with the Mahindra Alturas G4, MG Gloster, and Skoda Kodiaq.
