Maserati has launched its Trofeo model line in India. The Trofeo variant of the Ghibli sedan, the Quattroporte luxury SUV, and the Levante luxury SUV have been announced by the Italian carmaker, with prices starting at Rs 1.99 crore (ex-showroom).
These vehicles are not alone in getting their forceful and dramatic outward accents, but also, they are propelled by a V8 engine developed by Ferrari.
Even though the Levante Trofeo model was rolled out in the global car market for a while, this is the first time that the Sedan sibling that comes with the V8 engine. The 3.8-liter V8 dishes out 573bhp and 730Nm of peak torque. Where the Levante is limited to a top speed of 302kmph, the Quattroporte and Ghibli are tuned to hit the 326kmph mark.
A revised aggressive front grille with piano black finish, larger air inlets, and red inserts, as well as carbon fiber elements all around the body, are among the exterior highlights of the Trofeo clan. The sedans have 21-inch aluminum Orione wheels, while the Levante has larger 22-inch wheels.
Pieno Fiore leather upholstery, a revised 10.1-inch multimedia system with better resolution, and Trofeo motifs on the headrests all provide a touch of modernism to the cabin. ADAS capabilities and the Corsa button, which allows the driver to explore the Tridents' sportier quotient, are also included in the upgrade
