For all those who had been waiting for next year’s flagship killer, Mahindra has recently unveiled the XUV400 EV, which is set to be launched in January 2023. One of its kind, the regular producer of power cars expects a record-breaking sales number with this launch. Customers can start booking test drives in December, and in January, Mahindra will also release the pricing of XUV400. One of the most awaited EVs in this price range, it will probably reached new heights of popularity due to its features. Its expected price will be between Rupees 17 and 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
Among other attractions, a major attraction is that the XUV400 is said to be powered by a single front Wheel electric motor that produces 150hp. It gets a 39.4kwh battery pack. As per company claims, it can give a range of 456km on a single charge, and It takes 6 hours and 30 minutes for a 100 percent charge, provided it has been charged via a 7.2 kW/32A outlet, and it can be charged 0-80 percent in 50 minutes with DC fast charger. It can reach 0-100kph in 8.3 seconds and has a top speed of 150kph.
So what is different about this latest XUV400 that is all set to launch soon? The XUV400 is 4.2 meters long with a width of 1821 mm, a height of 1634 mm, with a wheelbase of 2600mm, and since it is an EV, its front grill is closed with copper color elements. To up that, it also has Mahindra's latest twin peak logo, which is also copper color. So you will see this copper color element touches all over the car. In the headlight, you get a projector with a regular high beam and regular bulb indicator with daytime running LED but with no fog lamp. Among other attractions, it also comes with an electric sunroof and dual-zone climate control system, type-c charging outlets, auto headlamps with rain-sensing wipers, and many such features. It also has a 17-inch wheel with disc brakes on both the front and back wheels. In an inside look, we found that it gets all the features that XUV 300 provides, comes with Android Auto, Apple car play, an IP67 rating for the battery pack, It has over 60 connected car features. Its safety features consist of six airbags, electronic stability control, cornering brake control, and many such features. Overall, the latest edition of Mahindra will be a deal-breaker, as per expert opinions. The strategy of offering test drives first is another way of attracting more customers and giving them a first-hand experience. It surely will get Mahindra a good customer base that will be willing to spend the anticipated amounts for the luxuries and attractions the XUV400 offers.
